Caylee Lansden bursts with confidence as she takes a look at her drawing of her favorite actress, Vanessa Morgan on “Riverdale”. It is one of the many pieces that she has created since she started in the art.
The young Upper Keys student, entering sixth grade at Plantation Key School, began drawing at a young age. She says she became more interested in the third year. Art is one of Lansden’s passions, and it shows clearly when she discusses her work and what she’s preparing to do next. In addition to paper, she also uses her iPad as another medium for her work.
“I do something new every day,” she says. “I can’t even count how many I’ve drawn and painted.”
Lissa Lansden, her mother, says her daughter is talented. “I am absolutely blessed to have it. She’s just the perfect kid.
